A leading lab grown diamond retailer in Australia is seeking a skilled software developer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on developing and maintaining the software systems that support our e-commerce platform and internal operations.

About the role

Our business is growing fast and so will your career with us. Working from our gorgeous central CBD showroom, you will conduct the customer Service process.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Design and develop software systems that are scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems
• Continuously improve and optimize software systems
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code adheres to best practices
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends

We offer an extensive training program on all aspects of the role to ensure that you are comfortable and capable in your role with us.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Java, C#, Python)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Experience with Git and Github
• Ability to work independently and make decisions

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Annual bonus
• Commission
• Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Adelaide CBD, SA 5000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

• Software development: 2 years (Required)
